Blog Crash

I just spent about an hour fixing the blog. The template failed to upload in its entirety, and the result was that the truncated code itself would output in the web browser. Since I had stupidly failed to back up the template for the past week, I had to go through and put back in the various new features: the archiving drop-down, the recent comments, and the sidebar conference blogging archive. Apologies to anyone who visited during this time only to see some ugly Matrix-style code. I think the problem arises when two of us are working on the blog at once -- seems like Blogger may not have worked all the bugs out for group blogging. In any case, I think everything is back to normal. And I'll be backing up the template any time I change it.
