Reunion

I'm headed out of town tomorrow for the weekend for some friends' baby shower; while there, I'll get to enjoy Truewit's wit in person, as he teaches at Nameless University just a town over from my friends (now his friends too). [That's a rather long way around to protect our anonymity.] That is, if Truewit has the strength to hang out and drink after another long week of lecturing. While at my friends' house for the weekend, I plan to:

1) drink alcohol in divers forms;
2) do house projects;
3) do online projects;
4) drink tea;
5) play various violent video games;
6) see the Tristram Shandy movie if it's playing there;
7) stand on all ceremony to celebrate the imminent birth of their daughter.

Quite a busy weekend.

    I always have time for the consumption of alcohol in the nameless suburb of the nameless university town in which I live. Strangely, your friends live in a nameless suburb of my nameless suburb. Such is life in the nameless and featureless area in which I reside.

    Beer, babies-to-be, and violent video games: sounds like a winning combination.

    Of course, a real man would incorporate real babies and real guns, but that's another matter.
