Grading

3 down, 72 to go.

I'm fucked. (That's right, I said it.)

I'm beginning to think end-of-term essays are a bad idea. The students have less time and, I'm finding, generally produce worse papers than they did in the middle of the term.

Of course, the other possibility is that I've actually made them worse writers and worse readers of Shakespeare.
