P.S. Guns

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the hotels all had signs saying that concealed weapons were prohibited in the hotel. Cultural difference!

Not sure where to leave this little comment--but since you were talking about signs at SAA (I love that such signs are necessary) I thought I'd mention a blog I discovered during the conference. It's by a grad student called Sarah Redmond. It's called LOLManuscripts (though it should be called LOLWoodcuts) and basically it's as if she has set up a blog to train for the return of the caption contest. Anyway, here's a link if you're looking for some comic relief: http://lolmanuscripts.blogspot.com

I like that we readers are all anticipating a "Return" for the caption contest. Let's hope it's not a messianic one (which would be a bit too long).
